Life member Daryl Peebles is directing a production of his play Barbecue over at Hobart Rep, a play that premiered with Old Nick in 1998. The season opens tonight (7 August), and the preview I saw was a show that not only had something to say about the egalitarian nature of outside cooking, but was just plain funny.

Well worth a look.
