The Christian Brothers opens Wednesday 8th July


christianbros_posterOld Nick continues to present the the best theatre in Tasmania with our upcoming production The Christian Brothers. This fascinating one-man show stars James Casey, fresh from Hamlet, and is directed by Darren Sangwell.

Playwright Ron Blair gives his devoted, overworked teaching Brother a well-thrashed chair, a strap, a blackboard, and the audience as his pupils. This is a beautifully developed portrait of a man torn between loving and loathing his students.
